Meet Leslie Herrguth, LLMSW

Leslie Herrguth, LLMSW, is a warm and compassionate Limited Licensed Master Social Worker offering both in-person and telehealth therapy across Michigan. A graduate of Michigan State University, Leslie provides developmentally responsive therapy to clients across the lifespan, with a special focus on children as young as 5, adolescents, families, and couples navigating complex emotional and behavioral concerns.

With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, mindfulness-based interventions, and evidence-based practices, Leslie supports clients experiencing:

Leslie brings clinical expertise in evaluation and assessment, neuropsychology, gender and sexuality, and culturally competent care, allowing her to tailor treatment to meet the individual needs of each client. She works skillfully across diverse settings with:

Her therapeutic style is relational, integrative, and strengths-based, drawing from a wide range of modalities to promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive behavior change. Leslie fosters a safe, nurturing, and inclusive space for healing—particularly for neurodiverse, trauma-impacted, and gender-expansive clients and their families.

Outside of the therapy room, Leslie enjoys making memories with her daughter and cherishes quality time with loved ones. She brings this same sense of joy, connection, and presence into her clinical work at Uplift & Inspire Counseling and Consulting, where she is currently accepting new clients.Leslie is a compassionate therapist providing both in-person and tele-health services, dedicated to supporting clients across the lifespan. She earned her Master’s degree from Michigan State University and works with clients starting as young as 5 years old.
