She incorporates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and Family Systems Therapyto help clients gain insight, develop healthy coping strategies, and achieve meaningful, long-term change.
"Healing begins the moment you realize your worth was never determined by your mistakes, your past, or the opinions of others. My role as your therapist isn't to tell you who you should become—it's to help you rediscover the strength, value, and resilience that have always existed within you. When you begin to believe in your own worth, everything else begins to change."
As both a therapist and a mother of two beautiful daughters, Alaysha understands the incredible responsibility, joy, and challenges that come with parenting. Motherhood has deepened her compassion, strengthened her patience, and reinforced her belief that every person deserves unconditional support and encouragement. Being a parent has taught her the importance of creating safe, nurturing environments where children and families can thrive—values that she brings into every therapeutic relationship.
Outside of the therapy office, Alaysha enjoys spending quality time with her family, creating meaningful memories with her daughters, exploring new experiences, serving her community, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally. Her Christian faith, passion for helping others, and dedication to lifelong learning inspire the work she does each day.
Alaysha believes that every individual has the ability to heal, grow, and create a life filled with purpose. Her mission is to walk alongside clients as they discover their strengths, overcome obstacles, and build a future they can be proud of.
