Grace Hicks-MSW Intern

Grace is an intern at the agency as she completes her MSW in Clinical Social Work from Walden University. In 2019, she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Northern Michigan University.  Over the past 8 years she has provided mental health services to clients throughout Michigan, Hawaii, Thailand and the Philippines. In her therapy sessions she uses a holistic psychotherapy approach that is trauma informed and culturally sensitive. She believes that having individualized treatment and creating an environment for clients to be their authentic selves is key for any therapeutic relationship. In her free time you might find her swimming with sharks, climbing cliff faces or reading under a tree.
